OK, my other favourite band in the world is miles away musically from Slipknot! This is Less Than Jake (as you'd probably guessed, from the big "Less Than Jake" logo at the top of the page), a ska-punk band from the town of Gainesville in Florida, USA. The band is made up of:

Chris: guitars, lead vocals
Rog: bass, vocals
Vinnie: drums, lyrics
Buddy ("Goldfinger"): trombone
Pete: trombone

Ex-members include Derron (who only left recently, he played bari and tenor sax) and Jessica (who played alto sax).

LTJ have had an absolute shitload of releases, and anyone who has them all is basically a very lucky bastard!!!! My fairly meagre LTJ collection comprises:

The Pez Collection CD (first UK release, effectively a "best of"! Signed!)
Goodbye Blue And White CD (collection of rarities. Signed!)
Hello Rockview / Losing Streak CD (double album, UK release. Signed!)
Hello Rockview 12" vinyl picture disc.
Pezcore CD (signed!)
Losers, Kings And Things We Don't Understand CD (signed!)
Losers, Kings And Things We Don't Understand (on 12" grey vinyl! signed!)
Less Than Jake / Megadeth Split 7" (LTJ track is All My Best Friends Are Metalheads. signed!)
Greased, the LTJ album of "Grease" covers!
The All My Best Friends Are Metalheads UK 7" single
The All My Best Friends Are Metalheads UK CD single
The All My Best Friends Are Metalheads UK cassette single
All My Best Friends Are Metalheads UK promo CD (exactly the same as the single, except it has both the radio edit and the album version of Metalheads)
G-Man Training Target 7" on pink vinyl
The Less Than Jake / J Church split 7" with Scott Farcas Takes It On The Chin and Descant by LTJ
All My Best Friends Are Metalheads t-shirt (with Iron Maiden "Number Of The Beast" album cover on the front! hehe)
"More (much more) than Jake / Jake / Less than Jake" t-shirt. Signed!

Setlist from Newcastle Stage 2 gig, 13/05/2000

which isn't that much really, when you consider the amount of releases the band have had!!! It's still nearly 100 different songs in that there collection though!!! It's also quite easy to find Less Than Jake stuff on the net, like MP3s and stuff of rare and live tracks. So if you want to hear some of their stuff, get on Napster or something! hehe. I would recommend for LTJ virgins searching for the following tracks:

Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts
How's My Driving, Doug Hastings?
Automatic
All My Best Friends Are Metalheads
Jen Doesn't Like Me Anymore
We're All Dudes
I Think I Love You
My Very Own Flag
Anchor

Those songs will give you a pretty broad overview of the band, but I would also advise everyone to go out and just buy everything by LTJ that you can, cos they rock, basically!!!! Places to find songs on the net are on my sound page.

As I've mentioned, I've followed the band a bit around the UK when they toured this year with Snuff. If you want to read my gig reviews, click here!
I also gave the band some questionairres to fill in, if you'd like to see the band's responses click here!

If you fancy having a gander at the photos I took at the Manchester and Leeds gigs in May 2000, click here.
